A dear young college student purchased the above patchwork cat for his grandmother, and about a year later I received this note from him:
"I wanted to reach out and let you know that one of your dolls that I bought has left a lasting impact on my family. A few years ago at the west Chester university arts festival I bought a cat-fish doll which had some Hungarian aspects. This doll has left a lasting impact on my grandmother
My grandmother is in her final stages of Alzheimer’s and is currently bed ridden. While she is in the current state we keep the doll with her by her side everyday. Something to keep her company as she always had it with her up to this point.
So thank you
