These bracelets are made with aluminum cuff bases covered with various embroidered fabrics and embellished with beads and sequins. They are adjustable to fit all sizes.
The time between being awake and falling asleep is known as hypnagogia, a transitional state where you may experience vivid sensations or hallucinations. This period can vary in length but typically involves a gradual shift in brain activity as you drift into sleep.
This image came to me during that time. Not exactly this of course but the seed was planted.
It's finished, framed behind glass and will be part of an upcoming exhibit. 15 " x 22".
Working on a new piece, have at least another day of work to do on it, still working on the total design.
I'm enjoying being a contributing artist at Julie Miller Pottery in Phoenixville. Right now you can find my wearable art aprons, jackettes, large totes and cuff bracelets there. All one of a kind and created with vintage and other unique fabrics.
It's a new dawn it's a new day, it's a new life and you can now shop online too! www.etsy.com/shop/sewbeemine
Here is another one! Mixture of contemporary and vintage fabrics.
I'm hoping to have at least ten for the occasion.
5 more to go!
I'm working on a new series of free size jackettes, integrating my images into wearable art. These are the first two. I took a photos of my paintings, printed them on fabric then reimagined them in various ways, machine quilted them and embellished with decorative stitching, sequins and glass beads.
I will be dropping these and more in April at Julie Miller Pottery.
This coat was a challenge, because the quilt is very heavy! So maneuvering it around my sewing machine was tough. I almost gave up making this a few times, but kept at it and so glad I did because it turned out really well!
It was at Julie Miller Pottery on the wicker mannequin. But now available in my newly reopened Etsy Shop. Heavy duty coat, so warm and comfy, upcycled from a vintage Pottery Barn appliquéd and patchwork quilt. Nice big pockets and belt.

I just dropped off fiber and paper collage Valentine hearts and one of a kind cuff bracelets to Julie Miller Pottery on Main Street in Phoenixville PA. Her shop features her heirloom pottery plus other local artists including me.
This new arrangement is fabulous! I “just" keep making whatever I want and drive five minutes away and drop off!
I’m working right now on a new art doll idea. Details on that soon to follow. Also stay tuned for a Valentine Making Workshop there next month.
Also offering a new spectacular coat, along with other wearable arts.
