NEW Sew Bee Mine Studio

Busy setting up the new studio for Sew Bee Mine......such a big and lovely space! for art and music studio. Also fabulous hangout spot. It even has a kitchenette and full bathroom. :) Lots of hidden storage space. More pics to come as it gets together. So happy and blessed to be here now. So many ideas for sewing brewing.

Big Big Love Giant Tote Bags from Sew Bee Mine

Been busy making giant tote bags with my own design. It took a few trials and errors to get it just right. These bags are fully lined and have lined pockets and a key tab inside. All created with high quality unique fabrics.

I am very excited to be having a Sew Bee Mine booth this year at the  Whole Lotta Lulu Vintage Flea Market. About five months ago, I was just getting started with my idea for Sew Bee Mine and went there specifically to find a vintage mannequin to display my wearable art aprons on, and found one!

A Whole Lotta Lulu is a funky outdoor flea market in Phoenixville. Local vendors selling handmade crafts, vintage items, and junk. Live music, and even something for the kids. It will take place on Saturday April 30th at Bridge and Main Streets in Phoenixville.

Sweet Honey Bun Cloth Doll from Sew Bee Mine

Enjoying experimenting with different ways to create hair and faces.... This is Sweet Honey Bun the Snow Angel. She is 22" and created primarily with a vintage tablecloth. The snowflake is crocheted. Her face and hair are drawn with my sewing machine, hair colored and high heels colored with fabric dyes.

I've got lots of vintage tablecloths left over from our daughter's wedding......and they are perfect for making dolls. Here is the first one, took awhile because I had to make a pattern and figure it all out. More to follow.
