I just recently completely organized my studio, including actually dividing up fabrics by kinds and putting them in plastic containers. I also got a rolling cart organizer to keep all sewing notions in while sewing, instead of the little overflowing baskets cluttering up the cutting tables.
There is also a designated area now just for painting, complete with easel, shelves for paint and other supplies. I'm learning how to play the piano, and it's in it's own little area too. My dear husband shampooed the carpet.
So, hunkering down and busy being a holiday elf. Last year the Christmas aprons sold out in one hour at The Farmer's Market, so this year getting more made ahead of time. It's going to be easy to select fabrics for them, now that there is a bin with just holiday fabrics in it at my fingertips. This in great contrast to rifling through piles of fabric trying to find a match.
I'm looking forward to having a booth at The Penncrest High School Band 23rd Annual Holiday Craft Show with over 115 vendors, including home made crafts, art, jewelry, handbags, clothing, and many more.
